Grace Conner is a highly versatile and accomplished freelance vocalist with a rich and diverse background in jazz, classical, and pop music. A graduate of the prestigious Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Grace’s training allows her to seamlessly blend genres such as jazz and soul, bringing a unique depth and emotion to every performance. In addition to her vocal prowess, she is also a skilled arranger, lyricist, and composer, often collaborating on innovative projects that showcase her wide-ranging musical talents.

Over the years, Grace has been involved in numerous high-profile musical projects, including recording for Birmingham musicians, performing with the Afro Cuban Jazz Orchestra, and working with jazz big bands. She has also participated in celebrated events like the Cheltenham Jazz Festival with the Afro Cuban Jazz Orchestra, the Symphonic Six Christmas Party, and the Hairy Bikers BBC Christmas Band. Grace has performed at prestigious venues such as Hotel Du Vin, where she sang with the House Jam Band, and has had the honour of performing multiple times for Sir Lenny Henry's Birmingham City University events.

As part of her musical journey, Grace has attended masterclasses with renowned artists, including two with the esteemed Mark De-Lisser. She also had the opportunity to study for a week at The Eastman School of Music in upstate New York, where she was tutored by two-time Grammy winner Sara Gazarek, further refining her craft and expanding her musical horizons. Additionally, Grace has written and performed her own original music, which she is officially recording in the summer of 2025. She has also created an event that allows creatives from all mediums to network and collaborate, fostering connections and promoting the exchange of ideas across the artistic community.

Grace leads a duo, quartet, and a function band, while also being part of a band that writes and performs original music. With a passion for diverse musical styles and an impressive resume of performances and collaborations, Grace Conner continues to captivate audiences and push the boundaries of her craft, always bringing fresh, original energy to every musical endeavour.
